FAQ

Q. Why should I clean my bin?
A: To provide a healthier more hygienic environment for you, your family, friends, neighbors or employees.
 
Q. Can’t I just hose out my bin from time to time?
Yes, however this practice can waste up to 150 litres of water each time and still doesn’t rid your bin of harmful bacteria that cause disease.  As well, you run the risk of contaminating your neighbours and your own driveways and lawn.  Run off will also potentially enter storm drains polluting our waterways
Q. How is your service better?
Our vehicles are completely self-contained and emit NO contaminants into storm drains; helping to reduce Urban Run-off into our rivers, streams and ocean!  Our wash cycle uses less than 1 gallon of water to thoroughly clean & sanitize each container. Less water is used in 2 years of monthly cleanings than one would use cleaning their trash bins just one time.  All products used are biodegradable. By helping achieve a greener environment, your household, community and environment all benefit!
 
Q. How often should you clean my bin?
Domestic clients (Multi family Townhouse Complexes) may find a service every fourth waste collection sufficient. Commercial clients may need a more regular service.
Q. Are you fully insured?
Yes, we  carry worker’s compensation and liability insurance.
Q. How long do I need to leave my trash can out?
We do need to ensure that your trash can has been emptied before we perform our service, and so we do operate some time after the garbage service and will do our best to provide same day service depending on your collection schedule.  However, the latest we ever service your trash can at your curbside is 7pm, so if collection is later than that we will be there first thing the following day.  We ask that you leave your cans curbside overnight--or if that is not convenient please leave them somewhere easily accessible and we will be more than happy to move them in the morning.  We only ask that you please do not leave them in a place where we would need to invade your property (ie. behind a gate, etc.)
Q. What about bad weather?
We work in all but the very worst weather conditions. Very heavy rainfall, lightning or heavy snowfall will prevent us from cleaning your trash can. In such circumstances we will endeavor to clean your trash can on the next garbage cycle.
Q. Do you work on holidays?
We operate on the same schedule as The City's Waste Collection.  Please check your Waste Collection Calendar.
 The City of Surrey is now collecting carts on all statutory holidays, except for Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
 
Q. What if I have taken my trash can inside by mistake on my regular cleaning day?
Unfortunately, we are only able to service your cans if they are left out on the day of your scheduled cleaning.

Q. Can I pay without a PayPal Account? 
Yes, PayPal will allow you to pay directly with a credit card without signing up for a PayPal account.
